“Proposal submission under Food Processing Scheme is closed“
In order to implement its Research & Development Scheme in the area of food processing, Ministry of Food Processing Industries has approached Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB). In turn, SERB has started handling the R&D scheme of MoFPI from the financial year, 2012-13 using its well established and widely acknowledged expertise in the formulation, evaluation and implementation of R&D programmes.
Necessary systems and procedures, at the functional level, have already been designed and put in place to implement the Scheme and sanctioning of R&D Projects, as per the mandate of the Scheme specified by MoFPI. The guidelines and application format for submitting request for R&D grant are available on MoFPI website http://www.mofpi.nic.in/guidelines/guidelines09-r&d.pdf
Applications are directly submitted to SERB. However, as on now, no new proposals are being accepted under this scheme. The next call for proposals will be notified in due course of time.
